Using the compact florescent light bulb as our point of departure, Yale, Harvard, Brown, and RISD students explored the light it produces in relation to a palette of materials, prototyping quickly, iteratively building upon the insights of others, and critiquing our work as we shifted from conversation to exploration back to conversation. Students documented the process. This is some of what they saw.
